We have opportunities for every skill level and interest
Welcome guests at entry gates, check tickets, provide wristbands, and answer basic festival questions. First point of contact!
Requirements: Friendly, organized, comfortable standing
Help guests navigate the festival, provide schedules, answer questions, and assist with lost & found items.
Requirements: Knowledgeable about festival, good communication skills
Assist with Highland Athletics, piping, drumming, or dance competitions. Help with registration, setup, scoring, and awards.
Requirements: Detail-oriented, ability to follow instructions
Supervise miniature Highland games, assist with crafts, and ensure kids have a safe and fun experience.
Requirements: Patient, energetic, comfortable with children
Help coordinate performers, manage stage logistics, assist with sound equipment, and keep entertainment running smoothly.
Requirements: Organized, calm under pressure, team player
Direct traffic, assist with parking, help coordinate shuttle services, and ensure smooth guest arrival/departure.
Requirements: Comfortable outdoors, ability to stand/walk, clear communicator
Help with pre-festival setup (Thursday/Friday morning) or post-festival breakdown (Sunday evening). Physical work required.
Requirements: Able to lift/carry, physically active, team-oriented
Float between areas as needed, help wherever extra hands are required. Perfect for flexible volunteers who want variety!

Joining the Scotfest volunteer team is easy! We welcome volunteers of all ages and experience levels.

Select from available volunteer positions and pick shifts that work with your schedule.
We offer optional pre-festival orientation sessions to help you prepare and meet other volunteers.
Arrive at your scheduled time, check in at the volunteer tent, and start making a difference!
Shifts typically 4-6 hours. Choose morning, afternoon, or full day options.
Volunteer for a single day or commit to multiple daysâwe appreciate any time you can give!
Sign up with a friend or family member and request to work the same shifts together.
Most positions open to ages 16+. Some roles available for younger volunteers with parent supervision.
